Fixedfloat — Terms

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FixedFloat and the services available at ff.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the platform. If you do not agree with these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the service. The exchange reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review this document periodically. Accessing the service through any device, browser, or interface implies full acceptance of the conditions described herein.

Eligibility Requirements

To use FixedFloat, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction. The service is not available to residents of countries or territories subject to international sanctions or where cryptocurrency exchange is prohibited by local law. By using this platform, you represent and warrant that your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your country of residence. The exchange does not make representations regarding the legality of its services in all jurisdictions. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that using this crypto swap service is lawful where you are located. Users who do not meet these eligibility requirements are prohibited from using the platform.

Account Terms

FixedFloat operates as a non-custodial, account-free exchange, meaning that users are not required to create or maintain an account to conduct swaps. Each swap is treated as an independent transaction identified by a unique order ID. Because no accounts are held, users are solely responsible for retaining their order information and wallet credentials. The platform does not store private keys and cannot recover lost order details beyond what is accessible through the order tracking system. Users must ensure that all wallet addresses provided during a swap are accurate and compatible with the selected cryptocurrency. Errors in wallet addresses may result in permanent loss of funds, and the service cannot be held responsible for losses caused by incorrect information submitted by the user.

Use of Service

You agree to use FixedFloat only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. The platform is provided for personal and commercial cryptocurrency exchange activities and must not be used to facilitate illegal transactions, money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other prohibited financial activity. Users are expected to interact with the service in good faith and to provide accurate information when submitting swap orders. The exchange reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or reverse transactions at its discretion if there is reasonable suspicion of fraudulent or unlawful activity. Automated access to the platform via bots or scripts without prior written authorization is prohibited. Respectful and lawful use of the service is a condition of access.

Intellectual Property

All content, design elements, software, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property displayed on the FixedFloat website are the exclusive property of the platform or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the service for its intended purpose. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or commercially exploit any content from this exchange without express written permission. Unauthorized use of the platform's intellectual property may result in legal action. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership rights to you. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by the service.

Prohibited Conduct

Users of FixedFloat are strictly prohibited from engaging in conduct that interferes with the operation of the platform or harms other users. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the system, submitting fraudulent or manipulated transaction data, using the service to launder proceeds of criminal activity, deploying malware or disruptive code, and impersonating the exchange or its representatives. The platform also prohibits any attempt to circumvent security measures or exploit vulnerabilities in the system. Violations of these prohibitions may result in the immediate termination of access and referral to relevant law enforcement authorities. The exchange takes the integrity of its platform seriously and will act decisively against abusive behavior.

Disclaimers

FixedFloat provides its services on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The platform does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical defects. Cryptocurrency markets are inherently volatile, and exchange rates displayed on the platform are subject to change based on real-time market conditions. The service makes no guarantee regarding the profitability of any transaction conducted through the exchange. Users acknowledge that all cryptocurrency transactions carry financial risk, and the platform expressly disclaims any liability for losses resulting from market fluctuations. Nothing on this site should be construed as financial, investment, or legal advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FixedFloat and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, loss of funds due to incorrect wallet addresses, losses caused by market volatility, service interruptions, unauthorized third-party access, or technical failures beyond the platform's reasonable control. The total liability of the exchange to any user for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by that user in connection with the relevant transaction. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so these restrictions may not apply to you in full.

Indemnification

By using FixedFloat, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the platform, its operators, employees, partners, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights. This indemnification obligation will survive termination of your use of the exchange. The service reserves the right to assume exclusive control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate fully in such defense. You shall not settle any claim without the prior written consent of the platform. This provision is intended to protect the integrity and financial health of the service for all users.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of FixedFloat or these Terms of Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. Users are encouraged to contact the support team to resolve issues informally before pursuing formal action. If an informal resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, unless prohibited by the laws of your jurisdiction. The language of arbitration proceedings shall be English. Users waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against the exchange. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

Termination

FixedFloat reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for any user who violates these Terms of Service or who engages in conduct that the service determines, in its sole discretion, to be harmful or unlawful. Because the exchange does not maintain user accounts, termination in practice may involve blocking specific IP addresses, wallet addresses, or transaction patterns associated with abusive behavior. Users may discontinue use of the service at any time by simply ceasing to access the platform. Upon termination, any pending swap orders will be handled in accordance with the platform's standard order resolution process. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification — shall remain in effect after termination.

Changes to These Terms

FixedFloat may revise and update these Terms of Service from time to time at its sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately upon posting to the website, and the revised date will be reflected at the top of the document. Your continued use of the exchange after any revisions constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. The platform encourages you to review these terms periodically to ensure you remain informed of your rights and obligations. If any change to these terms is deemed unacceptable to you, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the service. The exchange will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes through prominent notices on the website where feasible.
